Price Difference Explained
There is a significant difference in price between Botox and Dysport but this is for good reason.
Dysport is less expensive than Botox because an average of three times the amount of Dysport needs to be administered in order to get the same results as Botox. The reason for this is because the molecule size of Dysport is three times smaller than the molecule size of Botox. We like to compare Botox and Dysport to Coke and Pepsi. They are both nerotoxins that give patients the same results but some people prefer one over the other for their own individual reasons.

What is a dermal filler? Dermal fillers add lost volume to areas of the lower face and lips. A natural, more youthful appearance is easily attainable with dermal fillers. Most are made up of hyaluronic acid in a gel base with lidocaine added for patient comfort. Depending on the filler that is right for you, a filler treatment can last from 9-18 months or more. The use of topical numbing cream makes filler injections easy for the patient. As with any injection, bruising and swelling are potential side effects, so avoiding aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil supplements, and alcohol prior to your appointment minimizes unwanted effects.

CHEMICAL PEELS
Chemical peels are an important part of skin health. As we age, the rate that our cells naturally exfoliate slows down dramatically which results in a dull complexion and fine lines and wrinkles appear worse. Although the term “chemical peel” sounds daunting, a peel is a very effective treatment option for most skin types and concerns. Peels help to improve skin tone, texture, fine lines, wrinkles, breakouts, and dark spots (hyperpigmentation). When your skin peels or flakes after a treatment your skin is shedding dead or damaged surface cells and revealing new, healthy skin cells on the surface. This action is called cell turnover. Supporting the cell turnover process with chemical peels is what allows the skin to shed dead cells and bring new, fresh skin to the surface, free of signs of aging, sun damage, dirt and debris.
