We offer the following
Alma Laser services in our office:
Pixel: The Pixel laser is an FDA-approved in-office treatment that uses fractional resurfacing to refresh sun-damaged skin and reduce the appearance of acne scars, large pores, age spots, and uneven skin tone. The Pixel laser also tightens skin, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles.
AFT: AFT by Alma is the next generation of Intense Pulsed Light, (IPL) . AFT converts unused short-wavelength light into the usable spectrum. AFT (Advanced Fluorescence Technology) is a laser rejuvenation treatment designed to remove damage caused by sun exposure as well as treat conditions that are worsened by sun exposure, such as rosacea. This treatment targets hyperpigmentation or dark spots on the skin as well as redness and broken capillaries.
ClearLift: The Virtually Painless Alternative to Skin Resurfacing
ClearLift™ is a non-ablative approach to laser skin resurfacing. ClearLift providers are able to offer patients skin resurfacing treatments that are fast and virtually painless with visible results* and no downtime. The innovative technology delivers a controlled dermal wound deep beneath the skin, (up to 3mm in depth). The outer layer of the skin is left undamaged. All stages of healing and skin repair occur under the intact epidermis.
Hair Removal: Laser hair removal* remains one of the world’s most popular aesthetic procedures. Anyone with excessive body hair or hair in the wrong place is most likely a good candidate for laser hair removal. Likewise, anyone tired of tedious plucking, daily shaving and wasting money on waxes or other hit-and-miss solutions can also benefit from laser hair removal.
Tattoo Removal: Laser tattoo removal works, in part, by targeting ink particles and breaking them up into smaller pieces that can be absorbed and flushed by the body. We have found that pulse duration can play a significant role in achieving superior clearance of tattoo inks. While traditional nanosecond lasers work very well, the total number of treatments needed to achieve the desired results can be overwhelming to the patient. With the introduction of picosecond technology, practitioners are able to offer excellent results in fewer treatments. The ultra short picosecond pulse creates a photoacoustic effect that can shatter ink into the tiniest particles, allowing for faster tattoo clearance.
